Final final..

We had one discussion yesterday once after our web page design test finished. We started from 10pm till 5.00am. We managed to do the organization chart, double confirm all the links work, and check the font-family that we used are standardized.

We almost done all parts of our reports. Each of the group member is responsible to answer one question, and write out the structure of the web site that we did.

Today we went to campus at 10.30am to combine all the reports, and double check for the report. Had a consultation with Mr. Lee again.. Hahaha.. Thanks Mr. Lee for guiding us all the ways to finish our web page assignment...

We almost finished the whole part of the assignment.. We just need to upload the file to geocities.com to get the bonus marks.

It's coming to an end of the assignment... Thanks God.. It's finally almost over.. Now only left our group presentation...

After having one appointment with Mr. Lee on Friday, our problems mainly already solved by Mr. Lee. So, we just need to edit it nicer..

I edited the web page yesterday night and today morning.. I created one additional page to add all those related links, travel information.. As I have no ideas where to put in all those information, so I decided to do so..

I make sure every page also can link to other pages, as well as link back to the home page, and to the top of the page. Besides, I also edited all the font-family, font-size, then make the links into blue color.. Created the backside of the card, so that the membership page won't be too empty..

Now, we just left Yong Jian's part, which is the feedback section. He went back to his hometown, and he forgot to pass us his work.. He already edited all the things, so we just need to combine it once he come back...

Overall, we had done the web page design.. But now, a more difficult task is coming.. The report.. We will be doing that tomorrow.. After lecture class if possible..

regarding the last post, we had our own parts to do...which means everybody had different task to do..

regarding the Q n A part, due to the exceeding pages, we decided to pull it out of our web pages..

for the week of (10/3/09-14/03/09)-->week 2

each of us completed our part with a lot of differences and mistakes...
so we decided to redo again...the same goes for what im in charge of...
some of the mistakes were: the heading cant be align at the centre, spelling errors,forget to close those double sided tag and etc...

as i mentioned above, each of us made mistakes.
this week we had our discussion four times at suet hooi's house
finally we came to a point where all of us agree d what to do to our web pages for the wedding,cheesse and birthday cakes--> we make the images of the cake in table form and create links to link to the description part.
also...we decide to set the prices for the cakes with some research about the reasonable price.
besides, we tried to do the floating frame, but we still cant make it into iframe
cuz it will link the particular page within the iframe...finally we decide not to use it as a bar link....

for the week of 22/03/09-28/03/09-->week 4
hmm...this particular week we consulted mr lee several times regarding our web page assignment....
and we discovered that we did a lot of mistakes and dont really know how to decorate our web pages well.....
for eg. the floating frame that i put in the home page looked weird,the links cant really work, the background of some pages caused the wording hard to read,and the java script(drop down menu) had a lot of problem to be solved....
we had our discussion at suet hooi's house on (mon 3-6, tue 4-7, thurs 4 - 8)
finally we managed to solve the problems and improved a lot in our web pages.
but there still exist some mistakes...the links doesnt work, pages show differently in different browser where the links cant work as well, and the background image doesnt match for the "career opportunities and home page...."
thus, we made changes and changes in our web pages....
On friday,we gave it to mr lee to have a look and the mistakes still exist but much more lesser compare to the first one...but some of the links still cant really work....
before we left, we make appoinment with mr lee again on the coming tues at 10am which is after our management lecture...
lastly, mr lee asked us what does the java script we used means, we had no idea..=p

And so far, we only left the location part, feedback part and the organization part not yet completed...

Location part - We don't know how to link to the iframe..
Feedback - Can't send a email by using IE, but we managed to do that using Mozilla Firefox.
Organization Chart - Have not received the group members' photo..

Hopefully this webpage can be done within this week.. Then we have to start on doing the report already...

Around 70% of the webpage has been completed.. Now what we need to do is linking between the web page, and edit the pages according to the marking scheme.

We had our discussion at 4.00pm till 7.00pm.. We have started to do our report..

Haven't decided when is our next discussion...
